The awards keep coming for Lee Butler, who added the Easy Laundry Player of the Month award for August to his Man of the Match effort last week.
Butler played in six of AFC’s seven matches during August, only missing the FA Cup trip to Heanor Town, and impressed in the heart of AFC’s midfield.
Combining votes on Twitter and the website, Butler collected just under a third of the vote, narrowly beating Ryan Paddock to top spot with Sam Agar coming third.
Lee picked up his award from supporters’ after yesterday’s win over Holbrook Sports, and said it was “a really nice feeling” to receive the award from the fans.
