Club Statement: Under 18s manager

Club Statement on Craig Rose

Hinckley AFC can confirm the resignation from the club of the Under 18s manager Craig Rose and his assistant Jonny Handley.

The Under 18s team exists as part of the effort by the club to build for the future.

The aim is a clear pathway from the Under 18s to the first team and to keep the core of the Under 18s team as they progress to the Under 21 age group, whilst continuing to provide that pathway to the first team.

Our vision is to operate as a single football club, with a fluid progression between the teams, and that every current or prospective player and parent can see being a part of the Under 18s team is regarded as being part of the club as a whole, having the chance to develop and represent the first team.

We would like to thank Craig and Jonny for their hard work and dedication to building an Under 18s team that has done the club proud so far this season and, we hope, will continue to do so.  We wish Craig and Jonny well in whatever they choose to do next.

The Under 18s team will be temporarily coached by John Ramshaw and we hope to announce a new coach next week.
